The Reset Story
(And the guy behind the spray gun)
I’m Kaan. I started painting houses in the GTA nearly a decade ago—just me, a brush, and a lot of walls. Over the years, I found my rhythm (and passion) in cabinet refinishing. Cleaner, sharper, more satisfying work.
Eventually, I stopped chasing side gigs and built Reset—a small, local operation that treats every kitchen like it's our own. It’s not about volume. It’s about care, precision, and results you can feel when you walk into your home.
No crews of strangers. No generic quotes.
Just honest work, fair pricing, and a high bar I won’t paint under.
Want to meet before you commit? Send a message. I’ll probably answer it myself.
This is the reset look.

Got questions?
We’ve got answers.
-
Most kitchens fall between $1,500–$3,500. Some a bit more, some a bit less—depends on how many doors & drawers you’ve got. No fluff pricing. We tell it like it is.
-
Most jobs take about 5–10 days. That includes prep, spray, drying time, and a little bit of magic. We don’t rush—but we don’t drag it out either.
-
Nope. Just clear out the cabinets and we’ll handle the rest—cleaning, masking, taping, prepping. Think of it like a spa day for your kitchen.
-
We use professional-grade materials from brands like Renner for cabinets, Benjamin Moore or Sherwin-Williams for walls, depending on what suits your cabinets best. No hardware store shortcuts.
-
We do. And not just walls—we paint trim, doors, ceilings, even full houses, condos, and apartments. Whether it’s a kitchen refresh or a full reset, we’ve got the rollers and brushes ready.
-
If you’re in the GTA (Toronto and surrounding), chances are we’re already somewhere near you. Send us your postal code—we’ll let you know in a sec.
How it works?
Simple. Smooth. No chaos.
Cabinet Refinishing: The Reset Way
We don’t guess—we follow a process.
First, you reach out. If it’s through the website, you can even send us photos and tell us how many cabinet doors you’ve got.
Then we visit. We number each door, remove them from the hinges, and take them with us.
On the next visit, we clean and sand your cabinet frames (a.k.a. the structure). If you're going for a rolled finish, we might even prime and paint then and there.
Spray job? No problem. After cleaning and sanding, we mask and tape everything like pros. Then we come back to spray the primer, and—if time allows—the paint.
Meanwhile, in our shop, your cabinet doors get the full spa treatment: degreasing, sanding, priming, and painting.
Thinking about new handles?
If the hole sizes match, we install them at no extra charge.
Wanna go fancy? We can upgrade your hinges to soft-close, too.
Final visit? We reinstall everything.
New look. Zero demo. Just pure reset.
Residential Painting: Reset the Walls
From condo walls to full houses, we paint it all — walls, ceilings, trims, even those stubborn stair spindles.
Here’s how it goes:
You reach out, we chat, maybe you send a few photos. Once we understand the scope, we schedule a visit.
On the job day, cover what needs covering, and prep the surfaces. That means patching, sanding, and priming if needed.
Then comes the fun part — painting. Clean lines, smooth coverage, zero mess.
We use top-tier paints (Benjamin Moore or Sherwin-Williams ) and work with care, because it’s your home, not a job site.
Whole house or just one room — we’re in, we’re out, and your space feels brand new.
“Walls, trims, ceilings — we paint everything but the cat.”
‘‘Most kitchens can be reset for around $1,500 to $3,500 That’s right — no $15,000 reno, no dust, no demo.’’
